As we reported earlier this month, OYO took our acclaimed photographic exhibition - The Caring Namibian Man - to the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa. We were overwhelmed with positive responses, and now we can report some of the fantastic things that people have said about the show!
“How sad that we must ‘teach’ these things to one another. We too need this awareness in South Africa.” Anna
“Well done! It’s fantastic that someone is willing to show the GOOD news. The media often abuses men as regards rape etc. Not all men are like that. Thanks for the perspective!” Dr Merida Roetz
"Outstanding! A lesson in compassion and understanding” Jo Byram
"Brilliant. A very bold step. Not even presidents have the strength to defend men.” Sandile Mdlomu
"What a pleasure to see – I wish all men and young boys could see it and get over the need to be ‘macho’ and become human and humane” JJ
“An incredibly worthwhile and tender show, small affectionate gestures, very moving and without pretension.” Tanya Poole
