Dianne Hubbard is the coordinator of the Gender Research & Advocacy Project at the Legal Assistance Centre, a public interest law firm in Namibia. Her primary areas of research involve violence against women and family law. She holds a degrees in English literature from the University of North Carolina (USA) and Stellenbosch University (South Africa), and a law degree from Harvard Law School (USA). She taught a course in Gender & the Law at UNAM for two years, and has served on subcommittees of Namibia’s Law Reform and Development Commission on domestic violence, divorce and marital property.
